2nite FREE Event: Atlanta Gives Back to Support Tornado Victims @ Atlantic Station

I know it’s a short notice but it’s a great event and would love if you can make it.

Atlantic Station is hosting a benefit concert to collect donations and goods to support the tornado victims in Georgia and Alabama. Four local bands will provide free entertainment to help raise awareness and encourage Atlantans to support those affected by the recent disaster.

Atlanta Gives Back Info:

Place: Atlantic Station – Central Park

Date: May 6th, 2011 (Friday)

Time: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Cost: FREE

Detail: Attendees are encouraged to bring clothing, water, dry goods, diapers, formula and tarps, which will be collected during the event and donated to tornado victims. Attendees also will be encouraged to text the Red Cross during the event to make monetary donations. Attendees can text “REDCROSS” to 90999 to give a donation of $10.

Four local bands will provide live, free entertainment to help raise awareness and encourage Atlantans to support Georgia and Alabama residents affected by the recent disaster. Friday’s bands will include:

  • The Mad Violinist with The Symphony Crack Orchestra
  • Jarin and the Crushed Ice Band
  • Graham’s Number
  • TAASK
